About This Trip

Field Guides operates a dedicated birding cruise through the Galapagos aboard the 75-foot catamaran Nemo III, timed specifically for when Waved Albatross and Great Frigatebird are nesting on Española Island. The itinerary visits Española (Punta Suárez), Santa Cruz, Fernandina, Isabela, and Genovesa, targeting all 29 endemic bird species including Galapagos Penguin, Flightless Cormorant, three booby species, Galapagos Petrel, and Swallow-tailed Gull. Sea crossings between islands offer prime pelagic birding over the Humboldt-influenced waters of the archipelago.
