About This Trip

Tropical Birding's Galapagos Endemics Cruise is expressly designed to see as many of the archipelago's 29 endemic bird species as possible, including the Waved Albatross — the only tropical albatross in the world — nesting en masse on Española Island from April to December. The small-group cruise aboard a 16-passenger yacht visits the key sites across the southern and central islands, including Punta Suárez, Genovesa's Darwin Bay (a colony of 50,000+ Red-footed Boobies), and the penguin-and-cormorant coastlines of Isabela and Fernandina. Between-island passages over Galapagos waters produce Galapagos Petrel, Galapagos Shearwater, storm-petrels, and the elegant Swallow-tailed Gull.
