About This Trip
The Southern Cone Pelagic Cruise is an extraordinary 13-day expedition sailing from Buenos Aires south through Patagonian waters, around Cape Horn, and on to the Falkland Islands — covering some of the most seabird-rich ocean on Earth. The voyage targets over 35 tubenose species including Wandering Albatross, Black-browed Albatross, Blue Petrel, multiple prion species, three diving-petrel species, and six penguin species. The crossing of the Drake Passage and time spent in Falklands waters provides exceptional opportunities to observe Southern Ocean specialties rarely seen on conventional pelagic trips.
